Link a parent site document library in a subsite

You can use “Content Query Web Page” to show any list what you want to see, and you can follow these steps to set it.
1. Please make sure the "SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure" status is "Active" when you set "Content Query Web Page" first time. So, select the “Site Settings” item from the “Site Actions” drop-down menu.


2. Click the “Site collection features” button below the “Site Collection Administration” in this page.


3. Make sure the "SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure" status is "Active".


4. Return to the “Team Site” page, and then select the “Edit page” item from the “Site Actions” drop-down menu.


5. Select the “Insert” label and click the “More Web Parts” button.


6. Select the “Content Rollup” label and choose the “Content Query” icon. After that, please click the “Add” button.


7. Select the “Edit Web Part” item from the “Content Query” drop-down menu.


8. You can select any list in the Site Collection from the right of this page.


9. After select the list in the Site Collection, you can click the “OK” button in the lower right corner of this page to save it.

Currently, you can show any list of this Site Collection in your sub site.
